Julie Mans ~ FBV Volunteer Coordinator for Siuslaw Elementary

Starting in fall 2007 Julie volunteered to help coordinate volunteers and volunteer activities at Siuslaw Elementary. Julie recently established a database of volunteers who are interested in working at the elementary level. Julie enjoys working with school staff, community members and other parents and is especially interested in starting a volunteer run math program.

Originally from Montana, Julie and her husband moved to Florence in 1994, after graduating with a degree in Visual Science and a doctorate degree in Optometry from Pacific University. She is involved in her church and a local chapter of Delta Gamma. Julie has dedicated much of her time to raising three children while staying active seeing patients at the Florence Eye Care Clinic.
